Hemp flower used in Franny’s Farmacy products is grown, sown, processed, and packaged locally. Behind it is a real Agri-tourism hemp farm with a lodging facility just 10 miles from downtown Asheville. Franny’s Farmacy makes sure to never use fillers or unnecessary ingredients in their products and every purchase from it not only supports local farmers but also promotes sustainable organic farming. Its farm was one of the few chosen to be a part of the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (ASAP). By offering a full-spectrum distillate in all of its products, Franny’s Farmacy is bringing breakthrough innovation to the global cannabis market. Full-spectrum CBD contains all of the benefits of the whole plant without the high amounts of THC. However, personally, they are just pursuing mindfulness and peace. “A big motivation behind Franny’s Farmacy was to fulfill my dream of educating children, parents, and families about the benefits of CBD,” shares Tacy. “I love CBD because it helps children, the elderly, and others in need without throwing them off balance so they can function, drive and thrive.”

From resistance to growth

Although Tacy continues, “Participating in a new industry requires persistence and perseverance to enable the growth of our product line and company as a whole. Being in the cannabis business we have faced many challenges and issues since our start in 2018. But with great challenges come great lessons and we use these experiences to execute effective growth.” Franchising in the U.S. generated 787.5 billion last year. So, it’s quite evident why the entrepreneurs in the cannabis world are attracted to the exciting growth it can provide. Franny’s Farmacy is also progressing on the same lines. After being highlighted in the National media and receiving appreciation on platforms such as TEDx and Fox Business, they were encouraged to expand their horizon and bring benefits of hemp & CBD to more communities.
