Innovation, Resilience, and the Human Touch
Innovation has always been at the heart of Netty’s strategy. From implementing digital tools to adopting sustainability frameworks, she continually pushes ANL toward greater efficiency and responsibility. Yet, she insists that technology alone is not enough — the human element remains irreplaceable.
“Technology makes us faster and smarter,” she explains. “But logistics is still about people — the drivers, the planners, the customers. Machines can’t replace trust.”
That belief has guided ANL’s customer-centric approach. The company’s motto — “Honest, Accurate, Fast, Trust” — is more than operational doctrine; it’s a reflection of Netty’s personal ethics. Transparency, reliability, and accountability form the backbone of every partnership.
For Netty, leadership is not about commanding from the top but growing from within. Her proudest moments are not marked by awards or headlines but by satisfied clients and problem-free deliveries. “Every job that ends without a complaint is an achievement,” she says. “That’s when I know my team did their best.”
Her professional philosophy extends into her personal life as well. Away from the bustle of logistics hubs, Netty finds peace in her garden — her “second life,” as she fondly calls it. “Gardening helps me destress,” she says. “It’s my reminder that growth takes patience, care, and consistency — just like business.”
Mentorship, Legacy, and the Road Ahead
With three decades of experience behind her and a growing reputation as a green logistics pioneer, Netty now sees her role evolving from operator to mentor. “My next goal is to create more job opportunities and help produce a generation with great skills,” she says. “I want to share what I’ve learned — especially about sustainability — with the younger generation.”
Her advice to aspiring leaders, especially women, is simple yet profound: “Be consistent, do your job properly, and uphold safety and business manners. Respect your work, and others will respect you.”
She also emphasizes the importance of lifelong learning — a principle she lives by. Netty holds multiple certifications, including SCM BNSP (Supply Chain Management) Certification and CMILT (Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport). She has also studied Climate Change and Sustainability at the Open University in the UK and continues her studies at the United Nations University.
“I believe education never ends,” she says. “The more we learn, the more we can give back.”
When asked about the book that has most influenced her leadership philosophy, she cites Simon Sinek’s Leaders Eat Last. “It reminded me that leadership is about service,” she reflects. “You lead best when you put your people first.”
The Green Trailblazer of Indonesian Logistics
In a sector defined by machinery, schedules, and cargo, Netty brings something rare — a human touch anchored in integrity and sustainability. Her story is not merely one of business success but of perseverance, purpose, and environmental consciousness.
Through ANL, she has shown that profitability and sustainability are not mutually exclusive — they are, in fact, partners in progress. By championing Green Logistics, mentoring young professionals, and leading by example, Netty is redefining what leadership looks like in Indonesia’s logistics industry.
As she looks toward the future, her focus remains on nurturing the next generation of logisticians and pushing Indonesia closer to a green economy. “In logistics, every move matters,” she says with quiet conviction. “If we can move goods responsibly, we can move the world forward — one shipment at a time.”
In an age where the race for efficiency often overshadows ethics, Netty Sri Rejeki stands as proof that the most powerful form of leadership is not found in control, but in care.
“Never give up, be consistent, and stay true to your values,” Netty says. “Because in the end, it’s not just about moving things — it’s about moving people, ideas, and the planet toward something better.”
