She built her reputation in her 20s while working in-house at ABC’s LIVE with Kelly Ripa, Telepictures’ Bethenny Frankel Show, Time Inc.’s This Old House Magazine and NBC’s Meredith Vieira Show. “In my early 20s, I had six jobs in five years and saw the same thing in every department I worked – burnt-out creatives with no balance and no inspiration,” she mentions.

Tired of working around the same old mundane marketing tactics, Vix decided to go back to her undergraduate roots. She began leveraging her personal digital brand and started to take on side hustles to fulfill her creative passions. This led to Vix developing a revolutionary marketing framework –The Lead Generation Funnel (LGF) – a process that enabled her to turn her side hustle into an award-winning agency in no time.

“I built a six-figure business in six weeks in 2015. I was 27 years old, single, child- and pet-less and completely sure of one thing – I wanted the balance and freedom to build a life that loved me as much as I loved my career,” shares Vix. In 2020, Vix led her agency to witness a growth of an astounding 843%. Keeping up with changing times, today Vix’s agency utilizes the power of paid ad campaigns versus organic campaigns to generate positive results at breakneck speeds. She has also created a proprietary CRM tool – NurtureLead, that helps her clients better understand their customers and interact with them consistently through marketing and sales automation without forcing their teams to learn new tools.  “Every project forces me to be innovative and creative – my nickname is Vix because I’m Victoria with the Fix. I started creating strategic fixes for small businesses while I was still in high school and carried that creative and curious mindset with me throughout my career,” she shares.

One of her favorite projects was a United Nations project that Vix landed in 2016. Tasked with creating a strategy and assembling a global team to execute it, Vix promptly collaborated with a UK-based agency to ensure she was able to leverage social platforms that were only popular in China at the time.

Another one of her mentionable campaigns was for a global non-profit where she created an entirely new workflow to achieve their goals of creating a YouTube channel that was sharing content on a production schedule rather than a true promotional schedule. 

Addressing the importance of leveraging technology and harnessing its advantages, Vix says, “Understand and work with technology instead of against it. Infuse it into your strategies and your workflows; become the expert voice that seeks to teach and coach rather than undermine. Do not become complacent – learn something new every quarter and watch your results soar.”

The Future of Fractional Marketing

Looking ahead, we are certain to see a rise in the use of chatbots, social channels, and virtual reality marketing techniques. Businesses will have to go beyond basic personalization and use data to provide hyper-personalized experiences to their customers. This will require a deeper understanding of consumer behavior and preferences, and the use of advanced analytics tools to analyze and interpret data.
