Janiv Ratson is the CEO and co-founder of Axonize, an organization that enables businesses to digitize their operations and gain new insights into their business that were not accessible before to achieve significant and immediate ROI for their business. Since its establishment in 2016, Axonize has set up locations in the US, UK, Germany, and Israel. The four founders, Janiv and a team of three fed-up IoT experts, initially began their pursuit in 2003 where they were building digital platforms for all kinds of business, and soon realized that they were actually re-developing the same server again and again for each of their customers. This realization led them to come together and set up a single smart enterprise that could handle all business types, verticals, and sensors. And more importantly, they aimed to create secure smart enterprises for service providers, with exponentially higher speed and fewer resources to enable scalability, flexibility, and immediate profitability. To learn more about how Axonize achieved that under his leadership, we sat down with Janiv, and here’s what he has to say.

Aspioneer (A): What is it that distinguishes you from the rest of the players in the industry?
Janiv Ratson (JR): After all of these years and all of the platforms that my team and I developed; my vision was clear. It was to build an innovative platform, across all devices, systems, and verticals that leverages the connected world, creating a more convenient, efficient, and sustainable life. That is exactly what we have done with Axonize and developed a no-code platform for smart enterprises and products. We like to think of ourselves as game-changers. The new digital world brings with it the constant changes which require agile responsivity for executives. We help our customers respond quickly and efficiently to the required changes, both internal and external to their companies, without investing large amounts of time and resources. Customers reap significant value from our solution. They receive a wide range of business insights enabling them to manage their business unit more efficiently and transparently. Customers benefit from quick results, both in profitability and customer satisfaction.
(A): In an industry where the competition is cut-throat and unforgiving, how do you make sure to keep up your ultimate goal and at the same time encourage others to keep striving for more?
(JR): My approach to business is the same as my approach to life and what I tell my kids, an idea that is not pushed to fruition is nothing but an idea. Have the courage and the confidence to turn your ideas into reality, and don’t be afraid to fail. Whatever you decide to do, do your best. This is what I take with me, and what continues to encourage me. Execution is best achieved by a combination of people, technology and process. I believe that as a Manager, you cannot put 100% of your focus on all of these at the same time. It is important to know how to balance these three pillars within your organization and to orchestrate based on the current stage of the company, the status of the product, and the targeted market segments. (A): How has the COVID-19 pandemic impacted your business? How did you evolve your product to the current market?
(JR): COVID-19 has impacted Axonize as it has most businesses globally. Whereas smart enterprises were nice to have for many organizations, today it is a must have to keep employees and tenants safe. Axonize provides an end-to-end, smart building and smart offices solution specifically designed for the post-COVID -19 world, with all the functionality necessary to address today’s relevant organizational challenges, including; space utilization, enhanced well-being, safety and security, and cost reduction. With Axonize, employees can rest assured that they’re safe in returning to their workplace, and employers benefit from reduced expenses and overall employee well-being.
Additionally, Axonize has been working closely with the governments and enterprises in the US and globally to scale monitoring and tracking solutions. We have also developed a platform for complex systems like hospitals, cities, buildings, and factories. The platform is designed to manage millions of assets, i.e., COVID-19 test kits and ventilators, and analyze and present big data streamed from a plethora of data sources. The platform is already installed in systems worldwide, including hospitals and healthcare systems.
(A): Where do you see your company expanding or focusing its efforts in the next few years? Are there any upcoming initiatives that you find particularly exciting?
(JR): Our future objective is simply to continue to scale and grow this disruptive smart enterprise platform to help organizations today reduce significant energy, real estate, and operational costs, enhance tenant and employee well-being and increase security and safety in buildings and other spaces globally.
